DESCRIPTION:Join Panhandle Health District’s Suicide Prevention Action Network of North Idaho on Saturday\, September 14\, for their Suicide Prevention and Awareness 5k\, in remembrance of those lost to the completion of suicide and an effort to raise suicide awareness and prevention. Held at Riverstone Park (1805 Tilford Lane) in Coeur d’Alene\, check-in begins at 8:30am with the event starting at 10am. There will be music provided by local DJ Alejandro\, as well as many community resource provider tables in the park\, and swag. Commemorative long-sleeve shirts are available for purchase for $30 each\, as well as “Let’s Walk About It” 5k socks for $15\, both available online and at the event. All proceeds and donations from the event benefit the North Idaho Chapter of the Suicide Prevention Action Network\, Idaho\, and all monies stay within the community. Click Here to register.
