North Idaho Veterans Stand Down, an annual resource, health and benefits fair for all veterans and their families, is scheduled for Saturday, May 17, at Kootenai County Fairgrounds’ Jacklin Building (4056 North Government Way) in Coeur d’Alene. From 8am to 1pm, enjoy breakfast, lunch and coffee, as well as services to include VA medical, counseling, VA benefits advocacy, employment opportunities, legal services, veterinary care, bike repair, haircuts, and dental services.
