Spring is in full swing here in Coeur d’Alene, with summer just around the corner. This time of year brings rain, and shine, and blooms throughout town. It is also the time of year that downtown Coeur d’Alene is adorned with beautiful hanging flower baskets along Sherman and Lakeside avenues, thanks to the Coeur d’Alene Downtown Association’s partnership with Aspen Nursery.
Downtown Coeur d’Alene is ready to host the 2025 Mac & Cheese Festival, a celebration of comfort food, culinary creativity and community! This year’s event promises to be bigger and cheesier than ever, featuring more than 20 mouthwatering variations of everyone’s favorite comfort dish crafted by local chefs.
The Coeur d’Alene Fire Department and Coeur d’Alene Firefighters IAFF Local 710 invite the community to join them for their annual free Photos with Santa, which is moving downtown this year! From 10am to 2pm on Saturday, December 7, stop by the downtown Coeur d’Alene STCU branch location, where families can enjoy free photos with Santa, coloring sheets, warm drinks, and a vintage fire truck. In addition, they are partnering with the Coeur d’Alene Downtown Association to collect canned goods for their food drive, so be sure to bring an item (or items) and help spread some Christmas cheer.
