The highly anticipated Junk 2 Funk Fashion Show is back, presented by the Kootenai Environmental Alliance! This creative “trashion” event highlights sustainability through fashion, showcasing incredible outfits made from upcycled and repurposed materials. The event will take place on Saturday, October 12, at the Eagles on Sherman Avenue in downtown Coeur d’Alene. Doors open at 5pm, with the show beginning at 6pm. It’s a night where art meets activism, bringing together the community for an evening of eco-conscious fun and style. My name is Jillian, and I have been an editor and writer here in Coeur d’Alene since 2006, during which time I’ve had the opportunity to work for nine publications across North Idaho, into Spokane and as far as Gig Harbor, Washington.
