CCS 2024 Christmas Craft Fair

Join Christian Center School (CCS) in Hayden for a festive day of holiday cheer at the CCS Christmas Craft Fair, where the community is invited to shop unique, handmade items from talented local artisans, pick out the perfect tree at their fresh-cut Christmas tree lot, warm up with a seasonal favorite from Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck, and indulge in fresh-baked festive goodies, all accompanied by live Christmas music filling the air. There will also be a photo booth to help capture this holiday memory. Be sure to purchase tickets for the Christmas Tree Raffle (ChristianCenterSchool.org) for your chance to take home a beautiful full-size pre-lit and decorated Christmas tree, with proceeds going toward CCS Missions trip . New Leaf Nursery’s 2024 Fall Festival

New Leaf Nursery in Hayden invites the community to celebrate the season at their annual Fall Festival, happening October 11 through 13. This fun-filled event is perfect for the whole family, featuring pony rides, face painting, waffles and ice cream, and of course, an array of pumpkins and colorful mums. With over 50 local artisans and creators showcasing their unique crafts, it’s the perfect place to find holiday gifts for everyone on your list. On Saturday from 2 to 5pm, enjoy live Classic Rock tunes from LakeTown Sound, playing favorites from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s. Kootenai County Farmers’ Markets’ Customer Appreciation Day

Discover fresh flavors and local delights at the Kootenai County Farmers’ Markets! With a variety of vendors offering seasonal produce, specialty foods and handcrafted goods, as well as food vendors and live music, it’s the perfect mid-week or weekend escape. Held rain or shine Wednesday from 4 to 6:30pm on Main Street in Riverstone, and Saturday from 9am to 1pm at the corner of Prairie Avenue and Highway 95 in Hayden, these lively markets are a must-visit for families, foodies and artisans alike!

On Saturday, October 12, is the market’s Customer Appreciation Day; a day to acknowledge and show appreciation to all of the customers who have supported the market and the vendors through the season. The vendors pitch in and make warm soup, bread, pastries and coffee to serve for free to the customers. There will also be live music by Rusty Jackson.

The last Wednesday market of the 2024 season is October 30, while the last Saturday market is October 26. Additional details and vendor information, as well as music lineup and special market events, can be found at KootenaiFarmersMarkets.org.
