Run for the cause … The Double J Dogs. 2025 marks the 10-year anniversary of the Hauser Lake 5k/10k Icebreaker Run. One of the best, most beloved and gorgeous fun runs in the region, 100 percent of the proceeds go to support the special needs dogs in the care of Double J Dog Ranch — the Inland Northwest’s premier sanctuary and rescue for dogs with special needs, located in Hauser. Walkers and friendly dogs are welcome (though required to start at the back of the pack). There will be finisher medals for everyone and finisher bandanas for your canine companions, and the extremely popular tek shirts will be available this year as well (cut-off date to purchase yours is March 20).
The 10k course is a Bloomsday Second Seed Qualifier and USA Track & Field Certified! Same-day registration and packet pickup begins at 8am and ends at 9:30am inside the Fire Station. Race starts promptly at 10am, followed by a medal ceremony at 11:30. There will also be food trucks, a coffee truck, face painting, photo booths, silent auction items (auction ends at noon) and so much more! And of course, the Double J dogs! Register today at RunSignUp.com.
