The Coeur d’Alene community is heartbroken by the tragic events that unfolded yesterday afternoon in our town. Our thoughts and prayers are with our brave firefighters and first responders, especially those who lost their lives in the line of duty. We extend our deepest condolences to their loved ones and all who are grieving. This loss is felt deeply across our entire community. 💔
There are several ways to donate to help our First Responders and all affected by this tragedy:
For those wanting to donate financially to help these first responders in need from this incident, the Red & Blue Foundation has a donation button on their website RedBlueFoundation.org.
Anchored Coffee Company in Coeur d’Alene is setting up bank accounts for individual families directly affected by this tragedy at First Interstate Bank. In the meantime, you can donate at First Interstate and say it’s for the Canfield Incident.
Dana Bellefeuille (and firefighter husband Todd) of The Village Bakery in Hayden are packaging meals, sandwiches and food for the boots-on-the-ground operations, and at the hospital for First Responders. You may help donate funds by stopping in at 190 Hayden Avenue or Venmo @villagebakerycda.
